1999-2004 Mustang
The 35th anniversary of the Mustang was met with a brand new design. The SOHC GT and DOHC Cobra get a significant HP increase and a slight increase in torque in 1999 via better intake, cams and larger valves. The Cobra gets an independent rear suspension. Ford would continue to prove it's committment to the Mustang legacy with special edition models such as the Bullit and Mach1 Mustangs, and a 390 horsepower supercharged Cobra in 2003.

4.6L 2V stock engine, set up for drag racing. Few bolt on underhood items, race suspension front & rear. C4, trans brake, brake lock, 4:56 strange rearend, Car raises front tires over 3" and runs dial time and speed all day long consistently. Was raced professionally in FFW for 2 years, won a national event in Ariz. Bought the car after it was retired by Jim Gilbert, have had since 2005 in a heated garage. Only had time to race twice. Cheap way to get into racing.
