1987-1993 Mustang
The introduction of the '87 Mustang marked a turning point for Ford. Only slight visual changes from the '86 year, but under the hood was a different story. No longer was the 302 topped with a four-barrel carburator, but rather Electronic Fuel Injection pumped the GT model to 225 horsepower. While an economic recession hurt sales figures, this era of Mustang would undoubtedly become the most popular amongst performance enthusiasts for over the next decade. |

There surely isn't enough room in this box to detail all that's gone into this little monster. Maybe it looks stock at first glance which was the way I intended it as I wanted it to be a sleeper. But that Boss 363 and the lopey idle just give it away. Nothing is stock except the body. Engine, suspension, subframes, axle, 4 wheel discs, 17" Nitto's. 1500 watt state of the art stereo which turned out to be a waste because I'd rather hear that wonderful engine. No stone left unturned, not a penny spared. But, in a short race, she'll run with just about anything including Ferrari's, Lambo's AMG's |

Really the only thing special about this car is that it is 100% original and in showroom condition. I bought her from the original owner. What's so unusual about this car is that nobody has ever messed with it. I am tempted to make a lightly blown sleeper out of her :-) |

Brothers Performance Calif.10/31/2003 1993 5.0 LX,Kenne Bell 1.5L ,6psi,76 mass air, 70 throttle body, K&N stock heads, headers, exhaust.Fuel pressure dropping fast under boost from 65 psi...>45.Red line for dyno test set to 5500 but test stoped at 4600-4800 because fuel pressure drop and beginning to detanate. Max power 283, max torque 356.Tech said that 255lb fuel pump would solve the problem & it should pull harder & about 10 more hp with 5500rpm and new fuel pump. 3 dyno pulls plus the drive to brothers we got 27.3 mpg.150 miles & 5.5 gal.Im happy :) Now to sort out |
