1971-1973 Mustang
1971 restyling featured a more European look. The cars were longer, wider, and heavier, but the body was slightly lower. The Boss 302 was gone but replaced by the Boss 351.More emphasis was on performance was evident by the deletion of the 200 cid six. The '73 convertible was noteworthy as the final Ford convertible for many years.1973 production was up 8% over 1972 with 134,867 units made.

1971 Mach-1 Fastback Ram Air
Born in Detroit and raised on the Island of Oahu, Hawaii since 1970. This car is a true survivor! This was my Dad's pride and joy in the 70's and 80's. As a kid, I'd watch him meticulously clean the car and do all the wrenching himeself. To make a long story short, I blew the motor. Car sat for 20+ years and now it's completely rebuilt from ground up. 351C 4v all Numbers Matching Mach-1 Ram Air! Couldn't have done it without these fine folks here on FordMuscle.com. Gave the car back to my Dad but he's affraid to drive this beast LOL! I hope you like it as much as we do! Aloha and God Bless!
