1987-1993 Mustang
The introduction of the '87 Mustang marked a turning point for Ford. Only slight visual changes from the '86 year, but under the hood was a different story. No longer was the 302 topped with a four-barrel carburator, but rather Electronic Fuel Injection pumped the GT model to 225 horsepower. While an economic recession hurt sales figures, this era of Mustang would undoubtedly become the most popular amongst performance enthusiasts for over the next decade.

I bought this car in 1999 and I've been adding small bolt on parts ever since. When the stock 302 finally let go about a month ago I decided to go with the built 331 option. As of today the motor is sitting in the garage waiting to go in the car this weekend! I'll have dyno and drag numbers as soon as its up and running. Stay tuned.

Here is how my car looks at the moment I'm currently in the process of building my engine myself. I basically saved this car from being crushed so I have alittle work to do lol. The picture of pistons in a box are the 0.30 over pistons for my 302 I'm gonna clean them up really good and use in my engine. I now the history of the pistons and the engine they came out of barely had over 100miles on it after a fresh rebuild. Just wanted to show a pic of how they look now and what they are gonna look like when I'm done cleaning them.
