1969-1970 Mustang
The body on 1969 Mustangs was altogether different and reflected the first major change in the five year old line. The Mach 1 was introduced as a variation of the fastback of previous years. V8 power was installed in 81.5% of all '69 Mustangs. Mustangs were now all-out perforamance machines with the introduction of the Boss 302. Styling was not much different for 1970. The most potent power plant for the 1970 Mustang was the 429. |

this is my 69 mustang fastback i bought for 950. I have rebuilt the c4, got the stock 302 running good (I have an 89 HO 5.0 in my shed for it), installled a B&M Quick silver shifter, flowmaster exhaust with "H" pipe. I'm in the process of doing all the body work and interior replaced right now. It is in worse shape than it looks. I'm hoping to have it road ready by this summer. |

After a wreck in 92 she has a motor bored .03, a 9-inch 3.73, Windsor SR heads, some new upholstery, and a slightly rougher cam. I have treated her to a Weiand stealth intake, Holley 750, Htr/AC removal, stereo, new Haneline gauges , Grant wheel, Boss scoop, new light assemblies, and a paint job on the engine. No track time but has taken a SS Monte, a 5.0 convt., a berlinetta, a Lexus, an RX-7, a Stingray, and a Honda(mercy killing). Future plans include new suspension, torq thrust's, C-4, paint and body work (gun metal grey/w black hood). |
