Other Fords and Ford powered cars
With several hundred estimated Ford models released over the past half-century, combined with the endless potential of Ford powerplants transplanted into other cars, this category makes for some interesting browsing. If we see enough of you out there with a certain model, we'll create a dedicated category for it. |

One owner car till 2004. Original with 95k mile. You’d be hard pressed to find one nicer. Especially when considering the mileage. All options except auto trans and leather. I call it my little SHO. Just like the one I bought new and was forced to sell after just 2 years. |

This is an original 66 Tiger Mk1 with a 260CID V8. These cars were developed by Carroll Shelby as a joint effort with Roots/Sunbeam to offer American V8 Power to the average British road racer who could not afford a GT-40 or Cobra. Combining the raw power of the Ford V8 with the lightweight Sunbeam produced a car that in 66-68 competed successfully against Corvettes, Jaguars and Ferraris.
The Tigers, especially the MkII with the 289CID V8, are still a force to be reckoned with on the racetrack. |
