Other Fords and Ford powered cars
With several hundred estimated Ford models released over the past half-century, combined with the endless potential of Ford powerplants transplanted into other cars, this category makes for some interesting browsing. If we see enough of you out there with a certain model, we'll create a dedicated category for it. |

1984 Mazda Rx-7 with a 65 289 SBF with a mild cam, head work, Victor Jr. intake, and Holly 750 vac secd carb. She weighs about 2600 with me in it. The best I've gotten out of her is 8.98's in the 1/8 mile untuned, old slicks on a 9 year old motor. From a standstill, at idle she spins through 1st and 2nd gear for about 30 or 40 feet. The most fun I've had with a car which I bought for $165 bucks. |
