This is the wifes 74 high boy. It has been made into a short box but still has the 3/4ton drive train. It has a 428 in it that has been freashend up with all the goodies and a little bit of nitrouse to top it all off. This is what I use to beat up on all the rice burners in town. |

The ultimate truck! 300ci inline six, mated to a NP-435, granny tranny, to a 1345 BW transfer case. Top it off with a 9" in the rear and a HD 44 in the front. I have been told I need to lift it, but then I would not be able to use it for towing, and trust me this thing runs the road with a trailer on the back. I have been able to cruise at 70mph with a 6,000 lb truck on the trailer, don't even have to downshift on the hills. The engine currently has 290,000 miles on it to date, without anything other than routine maintenance done to it. |
