1974-1978 Mustang
1974 was the beginning of a new era for Mustangs. With fuel prices heading upward, and import car sales surging, Ford responded with the Mustang II - what some called a souped up Pinto. A complete departure from its roots, the Italian designed "Ghia" Mustang featured a standard I4 engine. By 1978 the 302 back, but power wasn't.

1978 Mustang II Ghia
was completly stock 302 engine waiting for $ to get more power into it. should b running 16's, the past summer i saved a couple bucks and managed to get a 4 brrl Edelbrock and performer intake it was a huge diffrence,i also put a single cherry bomb exhaust, but i had to put the cat back on it had a really nice sound before that.it shuld be running around 15.5s but the engine came to its last leg it lost compression and now i must save to rebuild it.This car handled 120 mph (i took up to app. 130mph once)easy on highway. 30 yrs on a never rebuilt engine really kills when it catches up
