1974-1978 Mustang
1974 was the beginning of a new era for Mustangs. With fuel prices heading upward, and import car sales surging, Ford responded with the Mustang II - what some called a souped up Pinto. A complete departure from its roots, the Italian designed "Ghia" Mustang featured a standard I4 engine. By 1978 the 302 back, but power wasn't.
