Mercury
Traditionally Mercury's were a bit more luxurious than their Ford counterparts, but almost every Mercury was built on a Ford chassis and powered by a Ford drivetrain. Entirely accepted by all at Ford club events, Mercury products are a large part of the FordMuscle readership. |

One of 89 Cougars chopped into a convertible by Car Craft Co., Lima, OH in 1986. This one has been totally modified; the only stock item on the entire vehicle is the windshield. Currently sporting a '92 5.0 done to 1993 Cobra specs (or better). Newer upgrades include a complete Cobra braking system, upgraded suspension, 17" Y2K Cobra R's, US Body hood, adapted Mustang side exhaust, and a completely redone interior. Much more info on my website. |

One family owned car. All original on the outside with dealer added side molding. Rust free and never been in an accident. C-4 auto, 625 cfm Edelbrock carb, mild cam, ported and milled (59cc) 351 W DOOE heads with 1.94" intake valves, 10.5:1 cpmpression, Harland-Sharp roller rockers, dual plane RPM intake, Tri-Y headers, dual 2.5" exhaust, Raven turbo mufflers. 3.55:1 8" rear end. Front and rear aftermarket anti-sway bars. It's my weekend hobby and in excellent running condition - I would drive it anywhere if I had an overdrive transmission (T-5 soon to come). |
