Mercury
Traditionally Mercury's were a bit more luxurious than their Ford counterparts, but almost every Mercury was built on a Ford chassis and powered by a Ford drivetrain. Entirely accepted by all at Ford club events, Mercury products are a large part of the FordMuscle readership. |

1956 Meteor Niagara 2 door
|
|
1956 Meteor Niagara 2 dr. Stock 223 ci six, 3 speed, 3.89 gears. I bought this in the fall of 1996 in need of a lot of TLC. After 5 years of blood, sweat, tears and much money (my wife's tears) it was the way I wanted it. Other than the six it would have been my only and last classic, until I came across a 57 custom with a 390. Now we are a two classic car family. Only built and sold in Canada. |

The "Widow" has been restored to original with the exception of "period upgrades" to give it more of a muscle car look. It's 360+ horses move this 4,000 lb. beauty like the muscle car it is. Haven't been to the drag strip, YET. Since the restoration is finished, what next? More horses? Show and tell? On to the next one? All of the above?? I love this game!!!!! |
