Torino
The Ford Torino was produced by the Ford motor company from 1968 to 1976. The Torino was created to eventually replace the very popular Fairlane name with an all new brand of Ford beauty, power and style. Although Ford still used the Fairlane name up through 1971, the Torino name was used on most body styles. |

Bad Ass, its my first car and i worked many summers to put money in too that car and motor. The 351W has new heads, manifold, a 750cm edelbrock carb. dual exhaust, cam(hydalike) and had it painted baby blue, I have redone the suspension to make it race ready. and disc brakes. i love this car. so much. Very fast too fast for me anyways. In the rearend it got a 275 gears, so when im going about 70 i can step on it and be going about 130 fast for an old car like that. |

My Torino's 351W engine presently has an Edelbrock Performer 600 cfm 4bbl carb sitting on top of a Edelbrock Streetmaster manifold, a Comp Cams High Energy Cam, and forged Arias Speedmaster pistons. Hedman headers hook up to 2 1/4" dual exhausts. In the ignition department I added a MSD distributor, an MSD5 control module, and 9mm Ford racing wires. Handling is improved with 14x7 P245R60's, front and rear Addco sway bars, KYB gas shocks, and heavy duty Moog springs in the rear. If you would like to see detailed pictures of my car, please go to my website. |
