1967-1968 Mustang
By 1967, competition in the pony car market was noticeably stiffer. An all new body was used in '67 but styling remained the same. By the end of 1967 Mustang accounted for 6.2% of all cars produced in the United States. Only subtle appearance changes were made to the '68 model but Ford now offered a 302 and 390 in the Mustang. The 427 was also offered for a short while to be replaced by the 428. |

Recent renovation project (un-finnished of course). 289 with Edelbrock Performer 289 intake, Holley 600 CFM 4 barrel, Comp Cams Aluminum rocker arms and hydraulic lifters and moderate cam. Hooker Competition ceramic coated headers feeding a custom made 2 1/2 inch X-pipe and exhaust. Finished off with 3 chamber Flowmasters. All cooled down by a Griffin aluminum radiator.
Need to work on the transmission and rear-end now, along with the suspension and steering.
Has been in the family since 1970, it is actually a bench seat interior, versus bucket seats (1,209 production count). |

It was rebuildt as a wagon in the early -80`s, and are now going too be restored as a weekend cruiser. It has a 351W and an C6 transmission. Allmost stock. |

SSBC disk brakes in front, stock drums in rear
Upper control arms dropped (Shelby drop) 1" sway bar in front, 3/4" in rear, 620 1" lowering springs in front |
