1967-1968 Mustang
By 1967, competition in the pony car market was noticeably stiffer. An all new body was used in '67 but styling remained the same. By the end of 1967 Mustang accounted for 6.2% of all cars produced in the United States. Only subtle appearance changes were made to the '68 model but Ford now offered a 302 and 390 in the Mustang. The 427 was also offered for a short while to be replaced by the 428. |

Bought it with a 302 & C4 trans, but it's all going to be replaced with a new roller block 351w, VicJr heads, Edelbrock airgpa intake & carb sparked by MSD ignition backed by a new 5spd G-Force gearset T5 manual trans and rebuilt 9" rear end will be installed in the coming months. I predict a lot of quality garage time during San Fran's raining season! |
