A predecessor to the musclecar era, the Galaxie was Ford's fullsize competitor. Introduced in 1959 and running through the musclecar era until 1972, the Galaxie and its' various submodels produced many powerful machines. |

This car has had it's motor changed, at least once according to the documentation that came with the car, no idea about the transmission, though. It appears to have been repainted, due to multiple colors of paint showing at various points where the paint has been chipped by rocks, etc. The interior is wonderfully original & looks great, sadly, though, the material of the seats splits when you put pressure on it. Mexican blankets to the rescue! I'm presently replacing the failimg generator with a Ford 3G alternator and fixing a fuel leak & then I'll drive the tires off of it. |
