A predecessor to the musclecar era, the Galaxie was Ford's fullsize competitor. Introduced in 1959 and running through the musclecar era until 1972, the Galaxie and its' various submodels produced many powerful machines.

Gorgeous black vinyl interior. She's powered by a 390, with a Tri-Power setup, cast iron headers, rebuilt C3AE-C heads, dual point 427 distributor, high lift cam, a Moroso 9qt oil pan and an aluminum radiator from Crites. All of this backed by a C-6 and 4.57 gears in the rear. My future plans are a Crites teardrop hood, a 3500rpm stall converter and an overdrive tranny. 1964 4-dr sedan
Bought in October '06 so I haven't got much done yet. New carpet and seat vinyl. Just got my block back from the machine shop. Will have 268H cam, with flat-tops and a Wieand Action +. It's going to be my daily driver so I'm keeping the engine mild. I'm not going anywhere near show winner but it'll turn some heads.
