A predecessor to the musclecar era, the Galaxie was Ford's fullsize competitor. Introduced in 1959 and running through the musclecar era until 1972, the Galaxie and its' various submodels produced many powerful machines. |

1967 Galaxie 500. It has a 390, 060, Edel RPM Heads, FPA headers, Edel RPM intake, Holley Street Avenger Carb, MSD 6AL Ignition, Crane 272H10 cam. Its backed by a C-6 and 3.50 trac-lok. Alum radiator from crites, SPAL Electric Fan,new front and rear suspension (coils and KYB nitrogen filled shocks). Front disc brakes with new master. Dual 2.5" Flowmaster 50 exhaust with H pipe. |

This is my dream car, believe it or not! I bought my '64 Custom in Mar. 2003 from a dealer in Ellis, Kansas sight unseen except for photos. At the moment, it's completely original with a 223 6 cyl. and a 3 on the tree. But bigger and better things are coming! |

Bought in October '06 so I haven't got much done yet. New carpet and seat vinyl. Just got my block back from the machine shop. Will have 268H cam, with flat-tops and a Wieand Action +. It's going to be my daily driver so I'm keeping the engine mild. I'm not going anywhere near show winner but it'll turn some heads. |

I was going to buy a 71 Torino (which my wife hated) and we found my 65 Gal. Someone had swapped the 352FE for a later model 302. Gas and finances being what they are a massaged 302/5.0 will be going back in. here's the stats: 99 5.0 roller block with ported 93 cobra/GT40 iron heads, E303 cam, Hyper 8.7:1 slugs (balanced) polished, peened, and balanced rods, edelbrock performer intake, holley 600 carb headers, duals, c-4 tranny, stock 9 inch with 3.0:1 chunk(may be changed later) Estimated (desktop dyno) 398 HP@6500/348 lb ft @5000. |
