Car was headed to the crusher and I decided it needed another chance. Now it makes a great everyday driver. It has a 2000 Watt system in it to make the drive comfortable and new interior to make you relaxed. Car has Centerline wheels with knockoffs custom made to fit the wheel centercap. All the trim on the body was stripped of the anodizing and straightened out then polished. The colors are Arcadian Blue and Wimbledon White. The whole car has been lowered two inches all around. Rear tires are 255/70 with front being 215/60 |

All original right now, beginning a Resto-Mod project with the 12 year old....we are beginning with building the engine first, then a fresh paint job next year, followed with a new interior...So far we have had a blast with this car and plan to keep enjoying this wonderful 40 year old car!!!!!! |

I purchase the car in April, 1990, for $600.00. The owner had kept the car in his garage for 11 years with dreams of restoring it some day.
I replaced the 390 engine with a 428 from a 1966, Mercury Marauder and changed the transmission to a C-6 out of a 1968 Ford Galaxie.
The interior was in real bad shape and I had it replaced with an original Ford vinyl material pattern. I had the drivers seat back rest modified to achieve a firm back support, especially in the lumbar area.
I changed the color from the original Aztec Gold to Medium Wedgewood Blue from a 1999 Ford Expedition. |
