Fairlane
The Fairlane was introduced in 1955 as Ford's fullsize model. In 1962 the Fairlane was reborn as Ford's entry into the competitive intermediate musclecar market. With lighter weight than the Galaxie but with the same powerplants, the Fairlane was a force to be reckon with on the street and the drag strip. |

391 FT block bored, Comp cam, custom flat top pistons from Ross Racing 10.8 comp, 428 CJ heads, Dove rocker arms with end stands,tri-power, C6 with 4000 stall speed converter, TCI manual valve body, Hooker headers, 4.11 gears. I finished building the motor and had it running in Aug. 2002 Still needs lots of work but it is my work in progress. |
