Fairlane
The Fairlane was introduced in 1955 as Ford's fullsize model. In 1962 the Fairlane was reborn as Ford's entry into the competitive intermediate musclecar market. With lighter weight than the Galaxie but with the same powerplants, the Fairlane was a force to be reckon with on the street and the drag strip. |

1964 500 Sports Coupe

This is my 64 Fairlane 500 sports coupe that I just paid $600 for .It had sat since 1983 in an elderly gentlemans driveway. I trailered it home & put all new tune-up parts in it & a new battery & put some fresh gas in it,changed the oil & filter & believe it or not -it started right up ! It has a 260 V-8 with automatic trans. for now. I put long tube headers on it with dual 3 inch exhaust that exits in front of the rear tires on each side--it sounds pretty awesome ! I'm currently in the process of turning it into a Thunderbolt clone. Have a 390 in the garage for future |

This car is not a trailer queen it is driven to every event that we attend . Car shows and cruise's are the main diet with a occasional open track or club date at one of the local road course's . |
