To produce an extremely popular car, with virtually no competition. That is exactly what Ford did when it began marketing the Mustang in April 1964. So, with little effort a new car was concocted using the Falcon chassis. A legend was born and the Mustang scored a world record of 418,000 sales by the end its first year of existence. |

My car is Acapulco Blue with White stripes. The interior has a roll bar, custom gauges and five point harness's. The engine is a 347 with forged scat crank, H-beam rods, 10.2 compression, JE pistons, Victor Jr heads. Air Gap intake and a Mighty Demon 650 with a Wilson spacer. The intake is plumbed with a stailess NOS fogger system. The cam is a custom stick with 232/238 duration @50 and 555/555 lift. I have a March Serpentine pulley system, Derale fan and air conditioning. Ignition is MSD and Mallory. The drivetrain is a G-Force T-5 & 9310 mainshaft, 9 in w/locker, caltracs, 4.11's and 31' |

1965 Mustang 2+2 "Fastback", C code 2V 289, 4 speed, Power Steering, Disc Brakes, Wimbelton White with original Ivy Gold interior. Has been repainted twice. I am the second owner. Since buying it in 1994, it has been powered by a stock EFI 302 from a 1993 Mustang, a modified EFI 302 a modified EFI 351W and the same 351W with a 4V carburator. I've used AOD's and toploader 4 speeds. Gearing has varied from 2.80:1 to it's present 4.11:1 geared Versailles rear axle. Emerald Torque Converters has used this car in their magazine and newsprint ads since 1996 ! |

EFI 5.0 Rebuilt with Kenne Bell 2.1L Supercharger, Ceramic Try-Y's, Crane 2031 Powermax Cam, Magnaflo X-Pipe 2 1/2" exhuast dumped behind axle (removed resonation). 24lb Injectors, Granada Disc Brakes, 69 Mach I Seats, Auburn Pro Posi 3.55 Rear, Tremic TKO600 (Keisler) 5-Spd, Dropped A-Arms, Frame Rail Connectors, Torque Boxes, Dupont Paint, Steel Re-Enforced Glass Hood.
