1965-1966 Mustang
To produce an extremely popular car, with virtually no competition. That is exactly what Ford did when it began marketing the Mustang in April 1964. So, with little effort a new car was concocted using the Falcon chassis. A legend was born and the Mustang scored a world record of 418,000 sales by the end its first year of existence.

Sitting in a barn for 4 years right after a fresh solid-lifter 289 was dropped in. New wheels, exhaust and chrome engine bits don't look so new though. For some reason, they did the cowl and 1/4s but neglegted the framerails and fuged the floors big time. So, I'm fixing that mess then it goes down to bare metal for a new coat of red, some white GT stripes, and a little interior work. Resale red? I sure hope so!
