New paint...70,000 miles..all original. Pretty decently quick car for a stocker! The blown 6-banger is surprisingly powerful down low. Will take most other cars off the line.
I ordered and bought this car brand new in 1971 at 15 years old...with a little help from my dad! I had $4,500 of my own money saved, and Dad gave the remainder of the $5,514 sticker price. (the dealership would not even give me a single dollar discount on an 'ordered' car!). The car sat in my garage until I was old enough to drive it a couple years later.
I have crashed it up and smashed it up over the years, and its been repaired, rebuilt and repainted 8 times! It has over 340,000 miles in total and I still drive it, though not as much as I used to. It was my daily-driver until 1995.
